About Our Conference

The CRANAplus Annual Conference has served as both a professional and social resource for the remote health Workforce of Australia for over three decades.

Held over two days at a different location around the country each year, conference participants are informed, among other things, of the latest developments in remote health care policy, drug therapies, technologies and therapeutic treatments for clients in their care.

The speakers who present at the conference are representative of all areas of remote health delivery, student bodies and educational institutions. Also in attendance are representatives from state and federal governments, academics, managers and policy makers.

Due to the isolated nature of remote health practice, access to ongoing professional development can be limited. Often the remote workforce rely on this annual conference to keep abreast of the latest information and technology available in their field. For over three decades this event has served to create an opportunity for like-minded remote and isolated health individuals to network, connect and share. We aim to offer an environment that will foster new ideas, promote collegiate relationships, provide opportunities for professional development and celebrate remote health practice.

CRANAplus strongly encourages all of its members to not only attend the Annual Conference but to participate through the submission of abstracts and award nominations.

The conference culminates in the Annual Awards Dinner. The dinner is CRANAplus’ annual ‘night of nights’ and is an opportunity to celebrate remote health and recognise those who have made a special contribution.

The CRANAplus Annual National Conference offers organisations two days of unparalleled access to a wide potential client base coupled with great promotional opportunities. Trade displays, sponsorship and product placement allow organisations the opportunity to inform conference attendees about their products and services, whilst building long-term relationships. The conference is a wonderful opportunity for organisations to show their support and commitment to improved health outcomes in remote Australia.
