Full Time Fixed Term Position
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Apunipima team as a Medical Receptionist for Primary Health Care Centre in Kowanyama. This position will provide front line administrative and reception support as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive primary health care services consistent with the Apunipima Way and Model of Care, to maximise health outcomes for the people of Cape York.
The successful candidate will hold Certificate III in Business Administration (Medical) or willing and able to undertake study - essential. Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills and computing skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, databases, Outlook and the Internet is also essential.
Previous administration experience with demonstrated knowledge of administration, and general office procedures preferably in a medical environment, customer service and interpersonal skills and an understanding of medical terminology is desirable.
