Remote Aboriginal Communities offer exciting opportunities for experienced Primary Health Care Nurses to make a difference in the health of the community. The positions contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of families living in remote communities in the Top End West Service Delivery Area. The primary objective of these dynamic positions is to work collaboratively with community members and the broader multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of preventative health programs — adult health, maternal health, under 5’s, youth & adolescent health and management of Chronic conditions.

This is an opportunity to live in a remote community in the Bonaparte Gulf region, the Port Keats estuary system is vast and supports great fishing, crabbing and hunting with the Moyle River in close proximity and renowned as one of the best Barra fishing rivers in Australia. Fishing areas are managed by the local Sea Rangers, there is ample opportunity to enjoy camping, off road tracks and exploration of the region with permits from the Traditional Owners and Thamarrurr Development Corporation.
