Nurse 4 RDO Remuneration Package Range (Comprising salary $99,582 - $106,986, superannuation, leave loading and the value of 2 weeks extra recreation leave) salary range.

This includes professional development allowance, 6 weeks recreation leave and annual leave bonus.

Offering an exciting opportunity for Primary Health Care Nurses in Maningrida. Working within a multidisciplinary team provide appropriate, sound clinical and professional nursing care which improves the provision of Primary Health Care Services to people within the Maningrida Community. The local Aboriginal people are very friendly and always willing to provide education, history and sharing cultural knowledge. There are beautiful sights to behold on driving in any direction, with unspoilt vistas everywhere. This is an opportunity to live in a pristine remote community on the Arafura Sea, at the mouth of the Liverpool River, amongst famous in-shore and off-shore fishing grounds. Tourists pay many thousands of dollars to holiday in this area. Bush tucker abounds.

There is ample opportunity to enjoy the camping, off-road tracks and exploration of the region once you have gained the approval from the Aboriginal authority. There are 2 commercial flights per day to Darwin on weekdays, and daily on weekends. Facilities include a choice of grocery stores and takeaway shops, a swimming pool, boat ramp, and school. The Top End weather is predictable and warm year-round. Housing is provided, and we promote and support professional development to all staff.
