Centre for Rural and Remote Health (CRRH), James Cook University (JCU) now have an exciting opportunity for a Research Officer to join a multi-disciplinary team on a fixed term appointment to 31 December 2021 at the Centre for Rural and Remote Health based in Mount Isa
What can you accomplish in the Role
Undertaking a research strategic project in collaboration with the research team and collaborative partners, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute the evidence base on health workforce safety in remote areas of Australia and make a real difference to the health of those living and working in rural and remote Australia
With a demonstrated understanding of remote primary care, remote area nursing, workforce and health services in an Australian remote and Indigenous contexts, you will have had project or research experience relevant to opportunity and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative team. You will be supported to undertake a higher degree associated with this project.
