One year ago our col­league Gayle Wood­ford, was trag­i­cal­ly mur­dered in the remote com­mu­ni­ty where she worked and lived.

Our thoughts on this anniver­sary are with her fam­i­ly, friends and colleagues.

We also pause to remem­ber her ded­i­cat­ed con­tri­bu­tion to remote and iso­lat­ed health­care in Australia.

Today is a day to acknowl­edge the sad­ness, grief, anger, frus­tra­tion and help­less­ness that many amongst us con­tin­ue to experience.
