We are looking for a Public Health Nurse/Aboriginal Health Practitioner (Sexual Health) to join our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Team.

  • Base Salary: $87,379 — $115,966 (p.a.) pro rata
  • Total Effec­tive Pack­age: $107,580 — $139,603 (p.a.)*
  • 0.8 FTE Part Time, Max­i­mum Term con­tract

About the role 

We are look­ing for a Pub­lic Health Nurse/​Aboriginal Health Prac­ti­tion­er (Sex­u­al Health) to join our Con­tin­u­ous Qual­i­ty Improve­ment (CQI) Team.

The Pub­lic Health Nurse/​Aboriginal Health Prac­ti­tion­er (Sex­u­al Health) role is to improve co-ordi­na­tion of the screen­ing, pre­ven­tion, treat­ment and mon­i­tor­ing of sex­u­al­ly trans­mis­si­ble infec­tions (STl’s) in the Cen­tral Aus­tralian region with a par­tic­u­lar focus on assist­ing with address­ing the syphilis outbreak. 

The pri­ma­ry task will be to sup­port the imple­men­ta­tion of tar­get­ed Com­mu­ni­ty screens across the Cen­tral Aus­tralian regions, includ­ing out­reach clin­ics in town and select­ed remote communities
