The MHW Educator is responsible for creating, delivering and tailoring engaging mental health and wellbeing education for the rural and remote health workforce.

Men­tal Health and Well­be­ing Ser­vices Team

  • Join an inno­v­a­tive, val­ues based not-for-prof­it organ­i­sa­tion, focused on improv­ing the health and well­be­ing of Australia’s remote and iso­lat­ed populations.
  • Part time (2.5 days a week), fixed term oppor­tu­ni­ty avail­able until 30 June 2023, with pos­si­bil­i­ty of extension.

CRANAplus is the peak pro­fes­sion­al body for health pro­fes­sion­als work­ing in remote and iso­lat­ed areas across Aus­tralia. We exist to ensure the deliv­ery of safe, high-qual­i­ty health­care in this unique con­text. We are a grass­roots organ­i­sa­tion that has pro­vid­ed near­ly 40 years of edu­ca­tion, sup­port and pro­fes­sion­al services for the mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary remote health workforce.

Men­tal Health & Well­be­ing (MHW) Educator 

The MHW Edu­ca­tor is respon­si­ble for cre­at­ing, deliv­er­ing and tai­lor­ing engag­ing men­tal health and well­be­ing edu­ca­tion for the rur­al and remote health workforce. 

  • This is deliv­ered through a range of edu­ca­tion medi­ums includ­ing on-line resources, webi­na­rs and work­shops, and face to face engage­ment activities. 
  • This posi­tion has a strong focus on deliv­er­ing and tai­lor­ing con­tent that is cul­tur­al­ly inclu­sive and rel­e­vant for a First Peo­ples remote health workforce.
