Midwife Clinical Specialist — Remote Outreach

This positions offers a career changing opportunity for an experienced Midwife to work with a dynamic team focussed on improving the health of women and their families in a culturally unique environment.
The outreach clinical Midwife provides midwifery care to remote women, particularly Aboriginal women, in remote communities within the Barkly region as part of a multidisciplinary team. The position may also be required to provide midwifery relief to other regions on occasion.
Experience driving a manual vehicle and a current NT manual driver’s licence and a willingness and ability to travel by road or light aircraft to remote communities for negotiated periods is required to fulfil the inherent responsibilities of this role”.
