(Com­pris­ing salary $109,921 — $118,093, super­an­nu­a­tion, leave load­ing and the val­ue of 2 weeks extra recre­ation leave). In In addi­tion to above Pack­age Range; pro­fes­sion­al devel­op­ment allowances and salary sac­ri­fice pro­vi­sions apply.

Ongo­ing vacan­cy in Alice Springs 

The chal­lenge of these posi­tions is to pro­vide clin­i­cal care in sev­er­al com­mu­ni­ties focussing on growth and devel­op­ment assess­ments, child­hood immu­ni­sa­tion sched­ules of chil­dren under 5 togeth­er and iden­ti­fy chil­dren and fam­i­lies requir­ing more sup­port direct­ly or through refer­ral. The suc­cess­ful appli­cant must have expe­ri­ence dri­ving a man­u­al vehi­cle with eli­gi­bil­i­ty to obtain an NT Driver’s licence and be will­ing and able to trav­el to remote areas on a reg­u­lar basis by road, light plane and to stay for up to a week as required.

You will be a reg­is­tered nurse hold­ing a cur­rent cer­tifi­cate of reg­is­tra­tion with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia. Addi­tion­al­ly you will have a post grad­u­ate cer­tifi­cate in Fam­i­ly and Child Health Nurs­ing and a cur­rent Vac­cine Providers Cer­tifi­cate recog­nised by NT Health. You will have an knowl­edge of Prin­ci­ples of Pri­ma­ry Health Care, Social Deter­mi­nants of Health and an under­stand­ing of the issues affect­ing Abo­rig­i­nal Health out­comes.
