You will be living on a remote community and working within a multidisciplinary health team providing primary health care and emergency services in a culturally appropriate manner to meet the needs of clients and their families. Services are provided within a clinical governance framework and there are fantastic learning opportunities in all aspects of service delivery.
This position requires extensive broad based clinical nursing experience relevant to Primary Health Care practice. Applicants are required to hold a current Remote Emergency qualification, Maternity Emergency qualification and Vaccination Providers Certificate. Applicants will have experience driving a manual vehicle and be eligible to obtain an NT drivers licence and be able to travel via 4WD or light aircraft to remote communities in Central Australia. Successful applicants will be required to participate in a 24/7 Emergency on Call roster and may be required to provide relief in other remote sites at short notice
