Primary and Public Health Care – Casual Pool
Nurse 4, Remuneration package range $127,689 — $137,065 (Casual employment is based on an hourly rate of $67.65 per hour.)
Furnished accommodation with amenities (electricity/landline/internet) is provided during placements.

PPHC – Remote are increasing the “Casual Pool” of suitably qualified nurses to provide relief for 4 – 6 week placements in remote primary health care clinics You will be working within a multidisciplinary health team providing primary health care and emergency services in a culturally appropriate manner to meet the needs of clients and their families. Services are provided within a clinical governance framework and there are learning opportunities in all aspects of service delivery.
This position requires broad based clinical nursing experience relevant to Primary Health Care practice. Applicants are required to hold a current remote emergency qualification, maternity emergency qualification and a Vaccination Providers Certificate recognised by NT Health. Applicants will have experience driving a manual vehicle and be eligible to obtain an NT drivers licence and be able to travel via 4WD or light aircraft to remote communities in Central Australia. Successful applicants will be required to participate in a 24/7 Emergency on Call roster and may be required to provide relief in other remote sites at short notice.
