This position offers an exciting career changing opportunity for an experienced Midwife to work with a dynamic team of Outreach Midwives, Child and Family Health Nurses, Diabetes Educators, Allied Health, Primary Health Care Nurses and Aboriginal Health Workers who are focussed on improving the maternal health of women living in a culturally unique environment. The challenge of this position is to provide outreach clinical care to women in a range of communities and coordinate continuity of care for women moving between remote and acute care services.
The successful applicant must have experience driving a manual vehicle with eligibility to obtain an NT Driver’s licence and be willing and able to travel to remote areas on a regular basis by road, light plane and to stay for up to a week as required.
