You will be responsible for the day to day operational and personnel management of a Remote Primary Health Centre. You will lead a small multidisciplinary health team and oversight clinical governance and safe practice in all aspects of service delivery. You will also be required ensure that services are delivered cost effectively and culturally appropriately to meet the needs of clients and their families
This position requires a minimum for 4 years broad based nursing experience, a minimum 2 years previous clinical experience in a remote setting and have demonstrated highly developed clinical and management knowledge. Applicants are required to hold current Remote Emergency Qualification, Maternity Emergency Qualification and Vaccination Certificate. Applicants will have had experience driving a manual vehicle and be eligible to obtain a NT driver’s licence and be required to travel via 4WD or light aircraft to remote communities in Central Australia. Applicants will be required to participate in a 24/7 Emergency on Call roster and may be required to provide relief in other remote sites at short notice.
