About the role

Located on the northern bank of the Pioneer River since 2003, our hospital is a modern 105-bed facility featuring five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a wide range of specialist clinical services.

The annual base salary commences at $127,049 plus superannuation, leave loading, and other applicable allowances.

What you’ll be doing

The Nurse Unit Manager will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective management of the day-to-day operations of the Maternity and Women’s Health Unit. This position has a predominantly clinical focus with an emphasis on safe and quality patient-centered care.

You will work closely with other clinical and non-clinical Managers to meet the operational objectives of not only the Unit but those of Mater Private Hospital Mackay.

  • Digital and computer literacy

Postgraduate management qualifications or similar, and experience in a comparable position in a private health care environment would be highly regarded.
