This position offers a career changing opportunity for an experienced Preventable Chronic Conditions Educator to work with a dynamic team focussed on improving the health of individuals and their families in a culturally unique environment. The role provides specialist support to primary health centre staff to implement key areas of the Northern Territory Chronic Conditions Prevention and Management Strategy, with specific focus on improving outcomes in early detection and management of preventable chronic conditions.
Experience driving a manual vehicle and a current NT manual driver’s licence and a willingness and ability to travel by road or light aircraft to remote communities for negotiated periods is required to fulfil the inherent responsibilities of this role”.
You will be a registered nurse holding a current certificate of registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
