Position Profile: The Clinical Nurse Manager provides leadership and direction to the multidisciplinary team of the Mental Health Inpatient Service, including consultation and liaison services. The position is accountable for improving and maintaining standards, developing solutions and delivering outcomes consistent with service and organisational imperatives and targets.
As a key leader the Clinical Nurse Manager will ensure that the Mental Health Inpatient Unit meets the requirement for delivery of a patient centred service against key performance indicators: quality, budget and human resource. The position provides clinical expertise and clinical leadership for mental health services to relevant internal and external customers.
Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service consists of seven regions across the state with the Goldfields being geographically, the largest of the seven regions, covering the entire south east corner of the state. The vast and versatile geography of this region is spectacular and features arid desert in the north, sandy beaches on the south coast and the great western woodland in between.
