We are currently looking for a Public Health Executive Manager to lead our Public Health team at Anyinginyi, an organisation enacting real change to close the gap in Aboriginal Health outcomes.

  • Salary range: $142,441 — $160,173
  • 6 weeks annu­al leave 
  • Sub­sidised accom­mo­da­tion for can­di­dates relo­cat­ing out­side of Bark­ly Region Relo­ca­tion and repa­tri­a­tion assis­tance (up to $5,000)
  • Salary Pack­ag­ing (up to $15,900 p.a.)
  • Access to Anyinginyi Health Clin­ic, with free Prescriptions
  • Free Gen­er­al Den­tistry (lab work to be paid by employee) 

About the Role…
Report­ing to the CEO, the Pub­lic Health Exec­u­tive Man­ag­er is respon­si­ble for ensur­ing that train­ing and capac­i­ty build­ing occurs for our sta. You will lead a diverse team to deliv­er a high stan­dard of Pub­lic Health Ser­vices and work close­ly with the Exec­u­tive team. 

In this role, you will be respon­si­ble for: 

Imple­ment­ing Pub­lic Health strate­gies for the organisation
Mon­i­tor com­pli­ance, poli­cies, pro­ce­dures of the section
Lead and roll-out Pub­lic Health projects and pro­grams with stake­hold­er engage­ment Con­tin­u­ous review and improve­ment of ser­vice delivery
Over­see­ing bud­gets and sta per­for­mance requirements

To achieve our goal, we employ over 100 peo- ple across a diverse range of roles in each of our key sec­tions of Health Ser­vices, Pub­lic Health, Stronger Fam­i­lies and Cor­po­rate Services. 

About You

  • Respect for and respon­sive­ness to Abo­rig­i­nal cul­ture and protocols 
  • Rel­e­vant ter­tiary qual­i­fi­ca­tions and strong expe­ri­ence in Health and Med­ical Ser­vices Management 
  • Knowl­edge of rel­e­vant legislation 
  • Expe­ri­ence com­mu­ni­cat­ing and engag­ing with a range of stakeholders 
  • Cur­rent Dri­ver’s licence 
  • OCHRE Card (Work­ing with Chil­dren) or the abil­i­ty to apply 
  • Be ful­ly COVID 19 vaccinated
