Posi­tion Pro­file: Pro­vides holis­tic, woman-cen­tred care for patients with­in the scope of prac­tice of a Reg­is­tered Mid­wife. Assists in plan­ning and facil­i­tat­ing the unit mid­wifery activ­i­ties in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Clin­i­cal Mid­wives and oth­er mem­bers of the team. Acts as a clin­i­cal resource for oth­er Reg­is­tered Nurs­es, Grad­u­ate Midwives/​Nurses, Nurs­ing Assis­tants and Stu­dent Midwives/​Nurses.

Vacan­cies exist in the Mater­ni­ty Unit and with­in MGP. Posi­tions avail­able are for Per­ma­nent Full Time, Per­ma­nent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time or Fixed Term Part Time appoint­ment with the pos­si­bil­i­ty of extension(s) and/​or per­ma­nen­cy. Casu­al appoint­ments may be considered.
