This posi­tion offers an excit­ing career chang­ing oppor­tu­ni­ty for an expe­ri­enced Women’s Health Nurse to work with a dynam­ic team of Pri­ma­ry Health Care Nurs­es and Mid­wives who are focussed on improv­ing the health of women liv­ing in a cul­tur­al­ly unique envi­ron­ment. The chal­lenge of this posi­tion is to work col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly with a range of ser­vice providers to build and main­tain capac­i­ty of women’s health ser­vices in remote com­mu­ni­ties through clin­i­cal sup­port, facil­i­tat­ing accred­it­ed train­ing, men­tor­ing and ori­en­ta­tion of staff. 

The suc­cess­ful appli­cant must also have expe­ri­ence dri­ving a man­u­al vehi­cle with eli­gi­bil­i­ty to obtain a NT Driver’s licence and be will­ing and able to trav­el to remote areas on a reg­u­lar basis by road, light plane and to stay for up to a week as required.
