We are seek­ing a Nurse Clin­i­cal Spe­cial­ist (Pre­ventable Chron­ic Con­di­tions) to join our vibrant team. This posi­tion pro­vides spe­cial­ist clin­i­cal out­reach care to remote clients and spe­cial­ist sup­port, advice and edu­ca­tion to Pri­ma­ry and Pub­lic Health Care staff with the spe­cif­ic focus on improv­ing out­comes in ear­ly detec­tion and man­age­ment of pre­ventable chron­ic con­di­tions in a cul­tur­al­ly sen­si­tive manner.

The suc­cess­ful appli­cant will have:

• Cur­rent Reg­is­tra­tion with Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia or eli­gi­ble for same
• Grad­u­ate Cer­tifi­cate beyond entry-to-prac­tice rel­e­vant to spe­cial­ty area
• Expe­ri­ence dri­ving a man­u­al vehi­cle and be eli­gi­ble to obtain a NT Dri­vers Licence

Will­ing­ness to trav­el to remote com­mu­ni­ties by 4WD or light air­craft on a reg­u­lar basis and stay for up to a week as required.
