The role is pri­mar­i­ly focused on man­age­ment of the Remote Sex­u­al Health Pro­gram and sup­ports oth­er pub­lic health activ­i­ties when required. The posi­tion pro­vides strate­gic over­sight and prac­ti­cal coor­di­na­tion of pro­gram oper­a­tions includ­ing but not lim­it­ed to: trip plan­ning, data man­age­ment, data report­ing and liai­son with inter­nal and exter­nal stakeholders.

The posi­tion holds finance and human resource del­e­ga­tion and is respon­si­ble for pro­gram recruit­ment and pro­cure­ment. Must hold a cur­rent NT dri­ver’s licence and 4WD train­ing course cer­tifi­cate or the abil­i­ty to obtain, will­ing­ness and abil­i­ty to trav­el by air and 4WD to remote com­mu­ni­ties and capac­i­ty to reside at times in remote com­mu­ni­ties for up to a week.

You will be a reg­is­tered nurse hold­ing a cur­rent cer­tifi­cate of reg­is­tra­tion with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia with a post grad­u­ate qual­i­fi­ca­tion in Sex­u­al Health. You will have an under­stand­ing of remote area nurs­ing and cul­tur­al diver­si­ty. All enquires are welcome.
