The Aus­tralian Nurse-Fam­i­ly Part­ner­ship Pro­gram (ANF­PP) is a pri­ma­ry health, evi­dence-based behav­iour change pro­gram that is deliv­ered through home vis­it­ing as part of the Clos­ing the Gap campaign. 

Dur­ing the home vis­it­ing pro­gram you will have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to jour­ney along­side women and their fam­i­lies through­out preg­nan­cy and until the baby is two years old. It is a client-cen­tred and strengths-based pro­gram where the Nurse Home Vis­i­tor works in part­ner­ship with Abo­rig­i­nal Fam­i­ly Part­ner­ship Work­ers in the remote com­mu­ni­ties of Wur­ru­miyan­ga (Tiwi Islands), Man­ingri­da, Gun­bal­anya and Wadeye. 

As the Nurse 4 you will be locat­ed in Dar­win and will trav­el by light plane and 4×4 wheel vehi­cle most weeks. Appli­cants with Mid­wifery and/​or Child Fam­i­ly Health Nurs­ing qual­i­fi­ca­tions are encour­aged to apply.

Overnight trav­el attracts trav­el allowance payment.

Inten­sive train­ing is pro­vid­ed by the ANF­PP Nation­al Sup­port Ser­vice and Top End Health Service.

You will be part of one of the 13 ANF­PP sites across Aus­tralia and The Nurse-Fam­i­ly Part­ner­ship Inter­na­tion­al Program.
