About Posi­tion 
This is a senior leader role on a 40-bed med­ical unit, with­in the Nurs­ing & Mid­wifery Divi­sion. Your role as NUM involves direct oper­a­tional over­sight to ensure the deliv­ery of high-qual­i­ty and safe patient ser­vices. This encom­pass­es lead­er­ship, coach­ing, team build­ing, change man­age­ment, risk man­age­ment, and the effec­tive man­age­ment of both human and finan­cial resources. 

Essen­tial Cri­te­ria 

• Full AHPRA registration 
• Min­i­mum 5 years’ expe­ri­ence in an acute med­ical setting 
• Post­grad­u­ate qual­i­fi­ca­tion in lead­er­ship and man­age­ment is high­ly desir­able, but not essential
• Abil­i­ty to demon­strate strong lead­er­ship and man­age­ment skills
• High­ly devel­oped com­mu­ni­ca­tion, nego­ti­a­tion, and con­flict res­o­lu­tion skills
