What you can accom­plish in the role

Con­tribut­ing to the devel­op­ment, coor­di­na­tion and deliv­ery of Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery cur­ricu­lum, you will pro­vide inno­v­a­tive learn­ing activ­i­ties and assess­ments to facil­i­tate engaged learn­ing expe­ri­ences for a diverse range of stu­dents. You will con­duct face-to-face and online lec­tures, tuto­ri­als, prac­ti­cal class­es, demon­stra­tions, work­shops, sem­i­nars and clin­i­cal ses­sions, and will also play a major role in schol­ar­ship and research activities. 

You will also have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to con­tribute to the devel­op­ment of a rur­al and remote men­tal health ser­vices and work­force through inno­va­tion in edu­ca­tion, clin­i­cal work, super­vi­sion and col­lab­o­ra­tion with key com­mu­ni­ty stake­hold­ers for Mur­tupuni Cen­tre for Rur­al Remote Health (MCRRH) footprint.

What you will bring to the role

With a post­grad­u­ate qual­i­fi­ca­tion and cur­rent nurs­ing reg­is­tra­tion in Divi­sion 1 with AHPRA, you will have expe­ri­ence in learn­ing, teach­ing and cur­ricu­lum devel­op­ment with a flex­i­ble, blend­ed and online approach. You can demon­strate an abil­i­ty to iden­ti­fy and address issues unique to region­al, rur­al, remote and Indige­nous nurs­ing edu­ca­tion and can work effec­tive­ly in a small, cul­tur­al­ly diverse and dis­persed team. Your effec­tive com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills and abil­i­ty to col­lab­o­rate across orga­ni­za­tions, pro­fes­sions and regions will see you improve access to men­tal health ser­vices across the MCRRH footprint

The Cen­tre for Rur­al and Remote Health (CRRH) is part of the Aus­tralian Rur­al Health Edu­ca­tion Net­work (ARHEN), a nation­al net­work of 15 Uni­ver­si­ty Depart­ments of Rur­al Health (UDRH) fund­ed by the Com­mon­wealth Depart­ment of Health under the Rur­al Health Mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary Train­ing Pro­gram.
