Silver Chain has a fantastic opportunity for a Primary Remote Area Nurse (PRAN) to work in our Silver Chain Beacon clinic. The role is offered as a Permanent, part-time position, 68.4 hours a fortnight.
You will utilize your previous PRAN experience to deliver emergency, routine and non-emergency Care and clinical assessments.
Key Responsibilities
You will have well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and decision-making skills along with 5 years post registration experience preferably in a Remote Nursing and Community Health setting. The working hours for this position are between the hours of Monday-Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm and out of these hours you are required to be on-call.
About you
- 5 Years Post Grad Experience
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Advanced Clinical assessment skills
- Triage experience / Triage qualification preferred
- Experience in Emergency Nursing
- The ability to Plan and implement holistic care for clients, family and community
- Have sound knowledge of the principles of primary health care delivery
- Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
- Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Certificate
Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
