Silver Chain has a vacancy for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Broome on a part time, full time or casual basis. We are also open to fixed term contract for the right applicant. If you are an internal applicant, we will look at secondment. This position is based out of Broome covering Broome and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to work in the community with a variety of clients. Acute general nursing skills are desirable; community nursing experience is highly regarded. This role provides chronic disease management, wound, and catheter care to clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
You will be an experienced, multi-skilled Nurse. Using your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities, you will provide an optimum standard of care to our clients, making a real contribution to their health outcomes.
About you
- Nursing qualifications and current APHRA Registration
- Minimum 2 years post graduate clinical experience
- Well-developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment
- Acute clinical skills including CVAD management, cannulation and catheterisation or willingness to upskill
- Full Australian Driver Licence
- Experience working with children
