About the role

The Ntaria Health Ser­vice Man­ag­er (NHSM) pro­vides man­age­ment and coor­di­na­tion of the Ntaria (Her­manns­burg) Health Ser­vice in the deliv­ery of cul­tur­al­ly appro­pri­ate com­pre­hen­sive pri­ma­ry health care and clin­i­cal lead­er­ship in coop­er­a­tion with the Ntaria-based Con­gress gen­er­al practitioners.

The NHSM pro­vides oper­a­tional lead­er­ship and coor­di­na­tion of all ser­vices pro­vid­ed by Con­gress staff to the Ntaria com­mu­ni­ty and out­reach ser­vices to Utju and Wal­lace Rock­hole Communities.

The posi­tion leads a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team and is inte­gral to ensur­ing cul­tur­al integri­ty and high stan­dards of clin­i­cal care and client flow. The NHSM will man­age the team with­in a dual ser­vice mod­el and in coop­er­a­tion with the NT Gov­ern­ment ser­vice based at the Her­manns­burg Com­mu­ni­ty Health Cen­tre. These two ser­vices joint­ly pro­vide com­pre­hen­sive pri­ma­ry health care to the com­mu­ni­ty under a Mem­o­ran­dum of Understanding.
