To be suc­cess­ful, you will have…

  • knowl­edge and abil­i­ty to imple­ment health pro­mo­tion prin­ci­ples into clin­i­cal practice
  • abil­i­ty to devel­op, imple­ment and eval­u­ate pri­ma­ry health programs
  • effec­tive inter­per­son­al, writ­ten and ver­bal com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills and abil­i­ty to work inde­pen­dent­ly and as a mem­ber of a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team

Posi­tion Profile:

To pro­vide a pri­ma­ry health care ser­vice to clients and com­mu­ni­ties with­in a nom­i­nat­ed area.

The pan­el will mon­i­tor this recruit­ment pool for appli­ca­tions and will assess on a reg­u­lar basis.

Suit­able appli­cants will be placed in a pool from which appoint­ments may be made when sim­i­lar vacan­cies occur.

Appoint­ments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2024.

The Coun­try Nurs­ing & Mid­wifery incen­tive pro­gram is avail­able to new and exist­ing nurs­es and mid­wives — across a broad range of patient-fac­ing roles — on fixed term or per­ma­nent con­tracts at 76 select loca­tions. Eli­gi­ble nurs­es and mid­wives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in sup­port over 12 months (WA Coun­try Health Ser­vice — Coun­try Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Incen­tive Program).
