Coun­try Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Incen­tive Program

Ever con­sid­ered a career in the coun­try? The Coun­try Nurs­ing & Mid­wifery incen­tive pro­gram is avail­able to new and exist­ing nurs­es and mid­wives — across a broad range of patient-fac­ing roles — on fixed term or per­ma­nent con­tracts at 76 select loca­tions. Eli­gi­ble nurs­es and mid­wives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 paid over 12 months — WA Coun­try Health Ser­vice — Coun­try Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Incen­tive Program

Posi­tion Pro­file: This pool is to recruit Clin­i­cal Nurs­es to a num­ber of posi­tions across the East Pil­bara at our Hed­land Health Cam­pus in South Hed­land. Each role man­ages, coor­di­nates and deliv­ers advanced nurs­ing care to patients and fam­i­lies with­in the scope of prac­tice of a Clin­i­cal Nurse, using lead­er­ship, advanced nurs­ing skills and knowl­edge rel­e­vant to the prac­tice set­ting. The Clin­i­cal Nurse pro­vides clin­i­cal super­vi­sion for Reg­is­tered Nurs­es, Enrolled Nurs­es, Assis­tants in Nurs­ing and students

Hed­land Health Cam­pus offi­cial­ly opened its doors on 17th Novem­ber 2010 as the Region­al Health Care Hub for the Pil­bara after sig­nif­i­cant build­ing works were com­plet­ed to update the orig­i­nal Port Hed­land Hos­pi­tal. It also pro­vides valu­able sup­port to small­er region­al sites includ­ing New­man Health Cam­pus, Mar­ble Bar Health Clin­ic and Nul­lagine Nurs­ing Post. Built on Cole­batch Way next to Kar­lar­ra House res­i­den­tial aged – care facil­i­ty, it pro­vides Pil­bara res­i­dents with access to spe­cial­ists in one loca­tion. Some of the Health Cam­pus’ ser­vices include but are lim­it­ed to: 24/7 emer­gency dept, Aged care ser­vices, Allied health ser­vices, Day surgery and Out­pa­tient units, Men­tal health, drug and alco­hol ser­vices, High depen­den­cy unit, Inpa­tient unit, Med­ical imag­ing, Mater­ni­ty and obstet­ric ser­vice, Pae­di­atric unit, Phar­ma­cy, Pop­u­la­tion health ser­vices, Renal dial­y­sis, Tele­health and Vis­it­ing spe­cial­ists across var­i­ous specialities.
