An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Clinical Nurse or Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker (Young Persons Mental Health Clinician) to join the Rural Mental Health Team within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service.

Loca­tion: Rur­al Men­tal Health Ser­vice, Wide Bay Men­tal Health and Spe­cialised Ser­vices, Bund­aberg Hos­pi­tal, Gayn­dah Health Ser­vice or Childers Mul­ti­pur­pose Health Service 

Loca­tion depen­dent, appli­cants who move with­in Queens­land intrastate (from Qld with­in MM1 to MM3) or to Queens­land from inter­state or inter­na­tion­al juris­dic­tion to take up per­ma­nent employ­ment may be eli­gi­ble to receive up to $70,000 incen­tive pay­ments under the Queens­land Health Work­force Attrac­tion Scheme


You will receive a com­pet­i­tive remu­ner­a­tion pack­age val­ue up to $131,900 p.a., com­pris­ing salary between $107,960 — $115,604 p.a. (f/​t) or salary between $54.45 — $58.30 p.h. (p/​t) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)), or com­pet­i­tive remu­ner­a­tion pack­age val­ue up to $76,747 — $112,805 p.a. (f/​t) or salary between $38.71 — $56.89 p.h. (p/​t) (HP3), employ­er con­tri­bu­tion to super­an­nu­a­tion (up to 12.75%) and annu­al leave load­ing (17.5%).   • Deliv­er clin­i­cal ser­vices with­in an inte­grat­ed men­tal health ser­vice envi­ron­ment with a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team focus. The pro­vi­sions of these ser­vices are to con­sumers and car­ers expe­ri­enc­ing and affect­ed by seri­ous men­tal dis­or­ders and oth­er seri­ous men­tal health prob­lems across both the com­mu­ni­ty and inpa­tient settings. 
  • Par­tic­i­pate in all aspects of the con­tin­u­um of care from Triage, Assess­ment and Case Man­age­ment with chil­dren, young per­sons aged 025 and their extend­ed net­works (fam­i­ly, edu­ca­tion, train­ing, employment).
