The posi­tion aims to pro­vide first line lead­er­ship for the mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary team work­ing in the Malmald­har­ra pri­ma­ry health care clin­ic in rela­tion to assess­ment, plan­ning, review, eval­u­a­tion, and coor­di­na­tion of ser­vice deliv­ery. The posi­tion will pro­vide high lev­el advice, lead­er­ship and coor­di­na­tion and ensure an inte­grat­ed approach to the deliv­ery of com­pre­hen­sive Pri­ma­ry Health Care across all ser­vice deliv­ery points with­in the service.

Essen­tial Requirements

The Clin­i­cal Team Lead will be respon­si­ble to lead mem­bers of the Clin­i­cal team to fur­ther devel­op a col­lab­o­ra­tive and cul­tur­al­ly respon­sive mod­el that pro­vides sup­port and men­tor­ship for all team mem­bers. This role also respon­si­ble to uti­lize clin­i­cal and man­age­ment exper­tise to lead and co-coor­di­nate the day-to-day clin­i­cal oper­a­tions of Malmald­har­ra Clinic.

Can­di­dates must have reg­is­tra­tion with AHPRA as a Reg­is­tered Nurse, min­i­mum of 5 years’ expe­ri­ence as a reg­is­tered nurse and will also have an under­stand­ing of and com­mit­ment to Abo­rig­i­nal Com­mu­ni­ty Con­trol, self-deter­mi­na­tion, and the issues faced by Yolŋu peo­ple liv­ing in remote settings.
