CRANAplus ensure the deliv­ery of safe, high qual­i­ty pri­ma­ry health­care to remote and iso­lat­ed areas of Aus­tralia. We are a grass­roots, not-for prof­it, mem­ber­ship based organ­i­sa­tion that has pro­vid­ed near­ly 40 years of edu­ca­tion, sup­port and pro­fes­sion­al ser­vices for the mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary remote health workforce.

The role

We are look­ing for a Clin­i­cal Equip­ment Spe­cial­ist to ensure our edu­ca­tion equip­ment and con­sum­ables are ready, safe, and in excel­lent con­di­tion for cours­es deliv­ered nation­wide. Based in our Ade­laide (Wing­field) office, you’ll man­age clin­i­cal equip­ment logis­tics with­in the ware­house, coor­di­nate trunk sets, sup­port edu­ca­tors and facil­i­ta­tors, and main­tain asset and main­te­nance schedules.

This is a prac­ti­cal, detail-focused role that direct­ly sup­ports train­ing out­comes for the remote health workforce.

Ini­tial Key focus areas include:

  • Coor­di­nate clin­i­cal equip­ment freight and ware­house logis­tics to sup­port course deliv­ery across Australia.
  • Pre­pare, clean, restock, and main­tain edu­ca­tion trunk sets and con­sum­ables in line with hygiene and WHS standards.
  • Man­age equip­ment asset reg­is­ters, depre­ci­a­tion sched­ules, main­te­nance rou­tines, and end-of-year reviews.
  • Pro­vide equip­ment trou­bleshoot­ing, prod­uct sup­port, and prac­ti­cal train­ing to clin­i­cal edu­ca­tors and vol­un­teer facilitators.

What We’re Look­ing For:

  • AHPRA reg­is­tra­tion as an Enrolled/​Registered Nurse, Para­medic, or oth­er health professional.
  • Expe­ri­ence using, man­ag­ing, and main­tain­ing med­ical equipment.
  • Strong organ­i­sa­tion skills, atten­tion to detail, and a sys­tems-focused approach.
  • Con­fi­dence work­ing in a warehouse/​logistics set­ting and apply­ing WHS principles.
  • Clear com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills and the abil­i­ty to work col­lab­o­ra­tive­ly with a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team.
  • Will­ing­ness to seek qual­i­fi­ca­tion to under­take tag and test­ing of elec­tri­cal equipment
