We are a grassroots, not-for profit, membership based organisation that has provided nearly 40 years of education, support and professional services for the multi-disciplinary remote health workforce.
The role
We are looking for a Clinical Equipment Specialist to ensure our education equipment and consumables are ready, safe, and in excellent condition for courses delivered nationwide. Based in our Adelaide (Wingfield) office, you’ll manage clinical equipment logistics within the warehouse, coordinate trunk sets, support educators and facilitators, and maintain asset and maintenance schedules.
This is a practical, detail-focused role that directly supports training outcomes for the remote health workforce.
Initial Key focus areas include:
- Coordinate clinical equipment freight and warehouse logistics to support course delivery across Australia.
- Prepare, clean, restock, and maintain education trunk sets and consumables in line with hygiene and WHS standards.
- Manage equipment asset registers, depreciation schedules, maintenance routines, and end-of-year reviews.
- Provide equipment troubleshooting, product support, and practical training to clinical educators and volunteer facilitators.
What We’re Looking For:
- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled/Registered Nurse, Paramedic, or other health professional.
- Experience using, managing, and maintaining medical equipment.
- Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and a systems-focused approach.
- Confidence working in a warehouse/logistics setting and applying WHS principles.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to seek qualification to undertake tag and testing of electrical equipment
