CRANAplus delivers educational courses to support and develop remote and isolated health professionals
With options for online courses, webinars and in-person course workshops, our learning opportunities are accessible to remote populations and are created to ensure the delivery of effective health care within remote Australia. Developed by professionals with extensive experience, our clinical and management courses are tailored to remote practice, regularly updated, and premised on the belief that excellence in learning is key to safe health care and the retention of the skilled remote and isolated health workforce.
All courses utilise the evidence-based improvement strategies provided by the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards, ensuring participants improve the quality of health service provision in remote, rural and isolated practice. Read the standards here.
Courses include remote emergency care, emergency triage, mental health emergencies, our advanced life support course for nurses, our basic life support workshop, our MEC nursing program, and midwifery upskilling. Our courses could see you obtain your ALS certificate, REC certificate for nursing, basic life support certificate or other certification, while contributing to your professional development, broadening your remote nursing skill set and increasing your employability in remote healthcare jobs.
