Remote Area Nursing Pathway Program Grant

Are you an RN transitioning to remote practice or a rural RN with a plan to do so? Rural and new-to-remote RNs are encouraged to apply for the nine-month CRANAplus Remote Area Nursing Pathway Program which commences in June 2022 and is presently available to recipients of the Remote Area Nursing Pathway Program Grant.

The program builds clinical skills, resilience, and cultural safety; provides a pathway to a sustainable remote nursing career; increases employment opportunities; and paves the way for lifelong learning and professional development. For more information on what the program includes, click here.

Thanks to the support of the Nurses Memorial Foundation of South Australia, CRANAplus will waive course fees for successful grant recipients. A $500 bursary will be provided for each face-to-face course to assist with travel and accommodation costs. To be eligible for this grant, you must be an RN and a CRANAplus member currently employed in a rural or remote setting. Applications close May 31 2022.

Nurses Memorial Foundation of SA Grants

Thanks to the generosity of the Nurses Memorial Foundation of South Australia Inc., we are able to offer a limited number of grants to assist CRANAplus members (registered as a nurse and/or midwife and working in a remote/rural area) to attend our courses or annual conference. The funds make learning accessible by contributing to the fees and costs associated with course attendance. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nurses are strongly encouraged to apply.

Round 1: As of 2022, 11 January to 30 June for courses during same period.

Round 2: As of 2022, 1 July to 31 December for courses/conference during same period.
