We seek a remote clinical nurse to join our dynamic clinical governance team. This position will utilise advanced nursing and midwifery knowledge, skills, and attributes within a defined area of clinical practice.

We seek a remote clin­i­cal nurse to join our dynam­ic clin­i­cal gov­er­nance team. This posi­tion will utilise advanced nurs­ing and mid­wifery knowl­edge, skills, and attrib­ut­es with­in a defined area of clin­i­cal prac­tice. The role involves build­ing ther­a­peu­tic and pro­fes­sion­al rela­tion­ships with indi­vid­u­als, fam­i­lies, groups, and communities. 

The suc­cess­ful appli­cant will have: 

  • Cur­rent reg­is­tra­tion with Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia or eli­gi­ble for same. 

  • Demon­strat­ed well-devel­oped knowl­edge, skills and expe­ri­ence in the rel­e­vant area of nursing/​midwifery with depth in some areas and abroad range of skills. 

  • Demon­strat­ed abil­i­ty to act as a clin­i­cal resource per­son and role mod­el, includ­ing men­tor­ing and pre­cep­tor­ing less expe­ri­enced staff and students. 

  • Be will­ing to trav­el to remote com­mu­ni­ties for nego­ti­at­ed periods
