About the Role

Our client’s Dia­betes Ser­vice is an inter­pro­fes­sion­al team com­pris­ing med­ical, nurs­ing and allied health pro­fes­sion­als. Clients seen include ado­les­cents and adults with dia­betes and women with hyper­gly­caemia in preg­nan­cy (HIP)

Dur­ing your 8 – 12 Week con­tract, you will be work­ing between: 

  • The acute hos­pi­tal services.
  • Var­i­ous com­mu­ni­ty-based loca­tions with­in ACT.

Skills and Requirements

  • Post-grad­u­ate qual­i­fi­ca­tions from a uni­ver­si­ty or ter­tiary insti­tu­tion in Dia­betes Edu­ca­tion. Is an Aus­tralian Dia­betes Edu­ca­tors Asso­ci­a­tion (ADEA) cre­den­tialed dia­betes educator.
  • Rel­e­vant qual­i­fi­ca­tions as a Reg­is­tered Nurse with AHPRA 
  • Cur­rent dri­vers licence desirable.
