We are seek­ing a Nurse Clin­i­cal Spe­cial­ist with Men’s Health exper­tise to join our vibrant team. The role involves pro­vid­ing clin­i­cal out­reach care and edu­ca­tion to remote Abo­rig­i­nal male clients, focus­ing on cul­tur­al­ly sen­si­tive engage­ment and pro­mot­ing well­ness through pre­ven­ta­tive health checks. The ide­al can­di­date should have expe­ri­ence in using health pro­mo­tion and com­mu­ni­ty devel­op­ment prin­ci­ples to plan, imple­ment, and eval­u­ate pri­ma­ry health­care pro­grams. They should also be com­fort­able dri­ving a man­u­al vehi­cle and will­ing to trav­el to remote communities.

The suc­cess­ful appli­cant will have:

• Cur­rent Reg­is­tra­tion with Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia or eli­gi­ble for same
• Grad­u­ate Cer­tifi­cate beyond entry-to-prac­tice rel­e­vant to spe­cial­i­ty area
• Expe­ri­ence dri­ving a man­u­al vehi­cle and be eli­gi­ble to obtain a NT Dri­vers Licence
• Will­ing­ness to trav­el to remote com­mu­ni­ties by 4WD or light air­craft on a reg­u­lar basis and stay for up to a week as required.
