This posi­tion offers a career chang­ing oppor­tu­ni­ty for an expe­ri­enced clin­i­cian with a Chron­ic Con­di­tions Edu­ca­tor expe­ri­ence who is inter­est­ed in liv­ing and work­ing in remote com­mu­ni­ties. The Pre­ventable Chron­ic Con­di­tions Edu­ca­tor whilst liv­ing in Ten­nant Creek will be trav­el­ling to the Bark­ly remote com­mu­ni­ties to pro­vide a spe­cialised ser­vice. The Pre­ventable Chron­ic Con­di­tions Edu­ca­tor is part of a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team pro­vid­ing ser­vices to out­ly­ing remote communities. 

The Bark­ly region is known for its beau­ti­ful desert land­scapes, whilst in Ten­nant Creek take the oppor­tu­ni­ty of swim­ming, canoe­ing or kayak­ing on Lake Maryanne or just sit back and relax and enjoy the scenic land­scape. This posi­tion is out­reach based and remote trav­el is required to ful­fil the require­ments of the position.
