Nes­tled in the Hunter Val­ley region of New South Wales, this rep­utable and vibrant aged care organ­i­sa­tion pro­vides excep­tion­al aged care ser­vices across res­i­den­tial, com­mu­ni­ty and retire­ment villages

Role Overview:
The Pro­cure­ment Offi­cer will play a key role in sourc­ing, nego­ti­at­ing, and man­ag­ing con­tracts with sup­pli­ers, ensur­ing cost-effec­tive pro­cure­ment of goods and ser­vices with­out com­pro­mis­ing on qual­i­ty. The suc­cess­ful can­di­date will con­tribute to main­tain­ing smooth oper­a­tions with­in our aged care facilities.

Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties:

  • Devel­op and imple­ment pro­cure­ment strate­gies tai­lored to the aged care sector.
  • Build and main­tain strong rela­tion­ships with ven­dors and suppliers.
  • Nego­ti­ate con­tracts, mon­i­tor sup­pli­er per­for­mance, and ensure com­pli­ance with qual­i­ty standards.
  • Col­lab­o­rate with inter­nal teams to fore­cast pro­cure­ment needs.
  • Man­age pro­cure­ment records and analyse data for bud­get­ing and deci­sion-mak­ing purposes.
  • Ensure com­pli­ance with rel­e­vant reg­u­la­tions and standards.


Require­ments:

  • Qual­i­fi­ca­tion in a relat­ed field to Procurement
  • Proven expe­ri­ence as a Pro­cure­ment Offi­cer or in a sim­i­lar role, prefer­ably in aged care, health­care, or a relat­ed field.
  • Strong knowl­edge of con­tract man­age­ment, e‑procurement, and online mar­ket­place system
  • Famil­iar with the aged care qual­i­ty stan­dards would be desirable
  • Excel­lent nego­ti­a­tion and com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills.
  • Pro­fi­cien­cy with Microsoft Office Suite includ­ing Excel
  • Aus­tralian Dri­vers Licence
