What You’ll Do

• Deliv­er and cham­pi­on a com­pre­hen­sive Pri­ma­ry Health Care (PHC) service
• Pro­mote Abo­rig­i­nal Health Prac­ti­tion­ers as first-line health­care providers in the community
• Facil­i­tate cul­tur­al­ly safe health edu­ca­tion to sup­port com­mu­ni­ty-dri­ven decision-making
• Col­lab­o­rate in Qual­i­ty & Safe­ty pro­grams, pol­i­cy devel­op­ment, and staff per­for­mance management
• Take part in a 24-hour on-call ros­ter to sup­port the health of the community

Our Ide­al Candidate

• Reg­is­tered Nurse with AHPRA reg­is­tra­tion and rel­e­vant post-grad­u­ate qualifications
• Exten­sive remote nurs­ing expe­ri­ence and knowl­edge of Abo­rig­i­nal health issues
• Skilled in cul­tur­al safe­ty and pri­ma­ry health­care programs
• Equipped with strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion and prob­lem-solv­ing skills
• Ready to reside and work in a remote set­ting, trav­el by air and 4WD, and par­tic­i­pate in on-call duties
