What’s the role?
ARRCS are active­ly sourc­ing a skilled Clin­i­cal Edu­ca­tor to join our team on a per­ma­nent, full-time basis. Based in our Region­al Office in Dar­win, this role will see you devel­op­ing con­tent and deliv­er­ing to our clin­i­cal teams across the Top End of the NT and sup­port­ing Cen­tral Aus­tralia when required. This role is being offered at an annu­al salary of $110,000 gross base- $120,000 (depen­dent on pri­or expe­ri­ence)
This role would ide­al­ly suit a skilled Reg­is­tered Nurse who is wish­ing to move direc­tion in their career and pro­vide edu­ca­tion and men­tor­ing to cur­rent RNs across our facil­i­ties. You will be pas­sion­ate about ensur­ing care is pro­vid­ed by a skilled work­force. You will be com­fort­able work­ing with min­i­mal super­vi­sion and able to trav­el to remote loca­tions with­in the NT reg­u­lar­ly.
This role will include reg­u­lar trav­el to our remote loca­tions with­in the North­ern Ter­ri­to­ry and, at times will involve trav­el in a 4WD and sin­gle engine aircrafts.

Is the role right for you?
To be con­sid­ered for this role, we will be look­ing at the fol­low­ing expe­ri­ence and qualifications: 

  • Bach­e­lor of Nurs­ing and cur­rent unre­strict­ed AHPRA registration 
  • Cer­tifi­cate IV in Train­ing and Assess­ment, pre­ferred how­ev­er, not essential.
  • Demon­strat­ed expe­ri­ence as a preceptor/​mentor/​coach with the proven abil­i­ty to use con­tem­po­rary edu­ca­tion and teach­ing meth­ods to devel­op and moti­vate staff towards a learn­ing culture. 
  • Demon­strat­ed high lev­el of inter­per­son­al, ver­bal, and writ­ten com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills and abil­i­ty to work in a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary environment. 
  • Demon­strat­ed abil­i­ty to deliv­er and eval­u­ate edu­ca­tion and learn­ing activ­i­ties to meet indi­vid­ual learn­ing needs using adult learn­ing principles.
  • Demon­strat­ed skills in devel­op­ing and teach­ing new approach­es to prac­tice that link evi­dence to improved con­sumer out­comes and experience 
  • Demon­strat­ed knowl­edge and under­stand­ing of nurs­ing scope of prac­tice, del­e­ga­tion and super­vi­sion of self and others 
  • Evi­dence of a cur­rent unre­strict­ed driver’s licence and the abil­i­ty to main­tain. Abil­i­ty and will­ing­ness to drive/​travel reg­u­lar­ly to remote areas in the NT. This may involve dri­ving long dis­tances and overnight stays.
