We are seeking a dedicated full-time Finance Officer to provide essential financial and administrative support across all facets of the finance functions, particularly in accounts payable and receivables, as well as bank clearing and reconciliation.

Posi­tion Overview 

We are seek­ing a ded­i­cat­ed full-time Finance Offi­cer to pro­vide essen­tial finan­cial and admin­is­tra­tive sup­port across all facets of the finance func­tions, par­tic­u­lar­ly in accounts payable and receiv­ables, as well as bank clear­ing and rec­on­cil­i­a­tion. This role plays a cru­cial part in fos­ter­ing a work­place cul­ture that reflects our organ­i­sa­tion­al val­ues.

Key Respon­si­bil­i­ties

Report­ing the Chief Finan­cial Offi­cer, this posi­tion plays a key role with­in our finance team. We are look­ing for an expe­ri­enced finance pro­fes­sion­al who has high atten­tion to detail, is proac­tive, and has strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills. This is a mul­ti­fac­eted posi­tion that will cov­er a vari­ety of cor­po­rate admin­is­tra­tive func­tions, including:

  • Over­see pay­roll func­tions and ensure accu­rate processing.
  • Han­dling accounts payable/​receiv­able trans­ac­tions and reconciliation.
  • Pro­cess­ing bank rec­on­cil­i­a­tions, includ­ing cred­it cards.
  • Assist­ing the CFO with end of month jour­nals and bal­ance sheet reconciliation.
  • Assist and sup­port the cor­po­rate audit functions.
  • Assist in man­ag­ing finance and account­ing activ­i­ties of the organ­i­sa­tion to ensure com­pli­ance and best practice. 
  • Assist the Chief Finan­cial Offi­cer with key projects and priorities. 
  • Sup­port and dri­ve process improve­ments across finance func­tions and cor­po­rate workflows.

What we are look­ing for
We are seek­ing a dri­ven pro­fes­sion­al ready to join our team and hit the ground running! 

  • Min­i­mal­ly three years’ expe­ri­ence work­ing with­in a sim­i­lar finance position.
  • Strong tech­no­log­i­cal lit­er­a­cy with the abil­i­ty to work across mul­ti-dis­ci­pli­nary sys­tems and plat­forms with proven expe­ri­ence in Xero (or sim­i­lar), Microsoft suite, in par­tic­u­lar, inter­me­di­ate to advance excel skills.
  • Strong ana­lyt­i­cal skills, atten­tion to detail, and a dri­ve for inno­va­tion and best practice.
  • Abil­i­ty to build rap­port with a diverse range of stake­hold­ers and a com­mit­ment to our organ­i­sa­tion­al pur­pose and mission.
