Two vacan­cies are avail­able on a full time or part time basis.

Exten­sive clin­i­cal expe­ri­ence work­ing in pro­fes­sion­al iso­la­tion (e.g. remote area nurs­ing includ­ing emer­gency nurs­ing, cus­to­di­al care nurs­ing) to effec­tive­ly triage, man­age and mon­i­tor acute and chron­ic health needs of per­sons detained in the police watch house ensur­ing all per­sons are ​‘Fit for Cus­tody’ is required. Appli­cants will be required to have expe­ri­ence dri­ving a man­u­al vehi­cle and be eli­gi­ble to obtain a NT dri­vers Licence and meet the Police, Fire & Emer­gency Ser­vices secu­ri­ty clear­ance requirements.

You will be a reg­is­tered nurse hold­ing a cur­rent cer­tifi­cate of reg­is­tra­tion with the Nurs­ing and Mid­wifery Board of Aus­tralia. Addi­tion­al­ly, you will have a demon­strat­ed under­stand­ing of issues affect­ing Abo­rig­i­nal health and the prin­ci­ples of Pri­ma­ry Health Care. All enquires are welcome.
