An oppor­tu­ni­ty has become avail­able with­in East Arn­hem Pop­u­la­tion Pri­ma­ry Health Care team to work as part of a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary health team and engag­ing close­ly with oth­er ser­vice providers.

As a Health Pro­mo­tion School Nurse (HPSN) you will be respon­si­ble to work close­ly stu­dents- with both Abo­rig­i­nal and Non-Abo­rig­i­nal back­grounds from Nhu­lun­buy High and Nhu­lun­buy Pri­ma­ry Schools in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Edu­ca­tion, Police (School Based Con­sta­ble) and Miwatj Health staff in deliv­ery of:

• Cur­ricu­lum Based, Age Appro­pri­ate Sex­u­al Health program
• School Based Immu­ni­sa­tion Program
• Pro­vide Social and Emo­tion­al sup­port to stu­dents and refer to SEWB offi­cer as required
• Pro­vide First Aid lessons for School students.
