Play a pivotal role in overseeing all HR functions, including employee relations, training and development, performance planning, performance management, compliance, hr strategies, and reporting.

$90,000 — 100,000 pa (depen­dant on expe­ri­ence) PLUS salary sac­ri­fice and superannuation

The role

As the Peo­ple and Cul­ture Advi­sor at CRANAplus, you will play a piv­otal role in over­see­ing all HR func­tions, includ­ing employ­ee rela­tions, train­ing and devel­op­ment, per­for­mance plan­ning, per­for­mance man­age­ment, com­pli­ance, hr strate­gies, and report­ing. This is an incred­i­ble oppor­tu­ni­ty to lead and shape our HR ini­tia­tives, con­tribut­ing to the growth and suc­cess of our organisation.

Ini­tial Key focus areas include:

  • Pro­vide HR advice to lead­ers and man­agers on a range of HR-relat­ed issues, includ­ing employ­ee rela­tions, per­for­mance man­age­ment, and organ­i­sa­tion­al change.
  • Pro­vide advice on HR solu­tions and guid­ance, ensur­ing align­ment with CRANAplus objectives.
  • Pro­vide updates on rel­e­vant employ­ment laws and indus­try best prac­tices to ensure com­pli­ance and offer informed, strate­gic advice.
  • Iden­ti­fy­ing cur­rent and future skills gaps and devel­op­ing strate­gies to address them through tar­get­ed train­ing and devel­op­ment programs.
  • Col­lab­o­rat­ing with depart­ment heads to cre­ate tai­lored devel­op­ment plans for employ­ees at all levels.
  • Lead­ing the devel­op­ment and exe­cu­tion of the com­pa­ny’s per­for­mance man­age­ment processes.
  • Devel­op­ing and imple­ment­ing per­for­mance review cycles, includ­ing goal set­ting, mid-year reviews, and annu­al appraisals.
  • Pro­vid­ing train­ing and sup­port to man­agers on effec­tive per­for­mance man­age­ment tech­niques, includ­ing giv­ing con­struc­tive feed­back and set­ting mea­sur­able goals.

What we’re look­ing for

We are look­ing for a great can­di­date who: 

  • Degree-qual­i­fied with exten­sive expe­ri­ence as an HR Generalist/​Advisor/​Consultant.
  • Proven track record of man­ag­ing HR func­tions for medi­um sized organisations.
  • Strong com­mu­ni­ca­tion, lead­er­ship, and prob­lem-solv­ing skills. 
  • Abil­i­ty to thrive in a fast-paced and col­lab­o­ra­tive environment.
  • Expe­ri­ence with Employ­ment Hero (prefer­ably HR and Pay­roll Plat­forms) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
