Tell me more…You will have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to deliv­er high lev­el, cul­tur­al­ly safe and respon­sive speech pathol­o­gy ser­vices to improve the speech, lan­guage and swal­low­ing skills of patients/​clients in the North­ern Sec­tor of the Tor­res and Cape Hos­pi­tal and Health Ser­vice (TCHHS), as a mem­ber of a mul­ti­dis­ci­pli­nary team. Work with­in a rur­al gen­er­al­ist speech pathol­o­gy scope of prac­tice across the con­tin­u­um of care, to both adult and pae­di­atric inpa­tients and out­pa­tients includ­ing ser­vices to reg­is­tered NDIS and Aged Care clients. Out­reach ser­vices will also be pro­vid­ed across the North­ern Penin­su­la Area and island com­mu­ni­ties of the Tor­res Strait with­in a frame­work of com­pre­hen­sive pri­ma­ry health care and in accor­dance with the Tor­res and Cape organ­i­sa­tion­al goals.
