Amelia Druhan is a Reg­is­tered Mid­wife and edu­ca­tor with exec­u­tive man­age­ment and board direc­tor expe­ri­ence across the health and edu­ca­tion sec­tors. Equi­table health and edu­ca­tion out­comes for minor­i­ty, mar­gin­alised and pri­or­i­ty groups has shaped her 25 year career. She brings a demon­strat­ed com­mit­ment to qual­i­ty, safe, sus­tain­able and acces­si­ble health­care to her role at CRANAplus.

Amelia has com­plet­ed sev­er­al terms on the ANMAC Mid­wifery Accred­i­ta­tion Com­mit­tee, holds two non-exec­u­tive board direc­tor posi­tions and in 2018 was award­ed Mid­wife of the Year (ACT). She is a grad­u­ate of the Women and Lead­er­ship Aus­tralia (WLA) Advanced Lead­er­ship Pro­gram. In 2023 Amelia com­plet­ed the flag­ship Com­pa­ny Direc­tors Course and remains an active mem­ber of the Aus­tralian Insti­tute of Com­pa­ny Directors.

Amelia worked at CRANAplus between 2018-ear­ly 2023, hold­ing the posi­tion of Deputy CEO 2021 – 2023. Fol­low­ing a peri­od work­ing clin­i­cal­ly in the Com­mu­ni­ty Con­trolled health sec­tor, Amelia returned to CRANAplus and the Exec­u­tive Direc­tor of Edu­ca­tion posi­tion in late 2024.
