Naomi is an AHPRA registered Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner. She has been working within Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services for the past 10 years, beginning her health career at Bega Garnbirringu Health Service In Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, before relocating to the Northern Territory to complete the Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice.
In 2014, Naomi shifted focus of her health career when she took on the role of Clinical Educator and completed Certificate IV Training and Assessing. Naomi works at Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation as an AHP Clinical Educator, working with 9 communities throughout the Katherine region and providing education and support to remote clinical staff.
Naomi is a descendent of the Meriam (Dauareb) people of the Torres Strait.
