Safety & Security for Remote Health Professionals

CRANAplus has care­ful­ly devel­oped the Safe­ty and Secu­ri­ty for Remote Health Pro­fes­sion­als mod­ule as a reflec­tive learn­ing oppor­tu­ni­ty for health pro­fes­sion­als, health ser­vice staff and man­agers work­ing in or con­tem­plat­ing work­ing in rur­al and remote areas. 

Par­tic­i­pants are encour­aged to reflect on their expe­ri­ences and expec­ta­tions and increase their aware­ness of safe­ty and secu­ri­ty issues with­in remote and iso­lat­ed practice. 

The mod­ule also explores and clar­i­fies safe­ty and secu­ri­ty roles and respon­si­bil­i­ties, and intro­duces sup­port resources.
